I found Azuca Nuevo Latino on Google Maps when looking for a place close by to have lunch while in San Antonio for 1 night. I went with a co-worker and we were both very happy we went! From the outside, the building is colorful and fun, with salsa music on the speakers outside. A couple of bistro tables were out front, but we decided to go inside for a bite. The first thing we noticed was the incredible artwork on the walls, and beautiful handblown glass chandeliers made by a local artist nearby. The music was great, and added to the Latin Ambiance.
We went during lunch, and the menu items were very reasonably priced. To have the same items on the riverwalk would have cost much more, and probably not tasted so good! Speaking of taste, the flavors were mouth watering delicious! We had the tombstones, guacamole and chips, and salmon over zucchini noodles. Each dish presentation was fun and flirty, and just enough food to fill us up. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable of the menu...

Tried the restaurant week special. Tortilla soup, Australian lamb chops, and flan. Great service. Background music really enhances the ambiance. Everything was so good.
